Another listing from games rating board ESRB has spilled Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition, which has been rated for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The game was previously reported as being essential for the season pass content for Far Cry 6, yet the break suggests the game will also be released as a standalone title.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon initially released in 2013 as a standalone expansion for Far Cry 3, which dispatched in 2012. The game is a first-person shooter set in a retro-futuristic dystopian world, including natural interactivity in a previously unexplored world. Blood Dragon immediately established itself as perhaps the best expansion to the Far Cry series, despite not being classed as a mainline expansion to the franchise. The 1980's-inspired expansion features references to famous movies and computer games from the same time frame, and its setting makes it uncontrollably unique to different games in the Far Cry series.

As listed on the ESRB website, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition has been rated for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and most prominently, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S (through Exputer). The game has been rated as "Develop," which aligns with previous releases of the expansion. While fans of the game have referred to it will release as a component of Far Cry 6's season pass, Ubisoft hadn't affirmed whether the game would be accessible without purchasing the DLC. Ubisoft has yet to report the standalone release authoritatively, yet the ESRB rating shows its dispatch is made arrangements for some point later on.

While the ESRB rating doesn't give a sign of the release date of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition, all things considered, Ubisoft is arranging something similar to Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. FC3 Classic Edition was incorporated as a component of Far Cry 5's season pass, before being sold as a standalone game shortly after. In case this is to be sure the thing Ubisoft is rehashing, it's possible players will actually want to purchase the standalone version of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition around a month after Far Cry 6's release in October.

Those who don't get Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition with Far Cry 6's season pass will probably have sufficient substance in the fundamental release to keep them involved at dispatch. The game will highlight the all-new anecdotal island of Yara, overseen by the ruthless despot Anton Castillo. Castillo, played by Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito, is now shaping up to be one of the series' most essential villains, seeming barbarous and merciless in game trailers, however Ubisoft has been staying silent on the person's full job in the story. As well as presenting new weapons and an emphasis on exploration, Far Cry 6 has the biggest guide in the series to date, making it a must-play for Far Cry fans.
